New Delhi to host Iranian Cultural Week in January

TEHRAN -- The Iranian Cultural Week is to open in New Delhi on January 1, an official of the Iranian Cultural Attaché’s Office in the Indian capital announced on Wednesday.
The event will feature a photo exhibit of Iran’s archaeological monuments and gardens, an exhibit of the costumes of various ethnic groups of Iran, an exhibit of the country’s handicrafts and tourism attractions, a book fair, and live music performances, Mohammadreza Mirzaii said.On the first day of the cultural week, the Iranology Center of the Jamia Millia Islamia University of New Delhi will be inaugurated, with Iranian Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Organization Director Esfandiar Rahim-Mashaii and several Iranian and Indian officials scheduled to attend the opening ceremony for the new institution, he added.
A conference on 3000 years of cultural-historical interaction between the two countries is to be held on the second day of the program, Mirzaii stated
