Iran, Kyrgyzstan ink MOU on standards

TEHRAN – Iran and Kyrgyzstan inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on standards here on Monday.

The heads of the Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI) and Kyrgyzstan’s National Institute for Standards signed the memo.

Mohammad Nazemi-Ardakani, ISIRI chief, said that the two sides need to reinforce trade and industrial relations, to develop their cooperation in standards field, and to issue certificates according to international rules and regulations.

Kyrgyz official Patidin Atakhanov called for the establishment of joint centers to cooperate in the field of standards.
