ECO inspects hurdles to economic development

TEHRAN – Investigating factors contributing to economic instability or insecurity were among the topics discussed in the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) ministerial meeting in Tehran, Deputy Interior Minister for International Affairs Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli said here on Monday.
Drugs trafficking, illegal immigration, and organized crimes are some of the issues which the ten ECO member states are facing, Rahmani-Fazli told the Mehr News Agency.
The first ECO interior ministers’ meeting was opened in Tehran on October 30 and will continue up to November 1.
