Families of kidnapped diplomats to attend NHRC session

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency) -- Families of the 4 Iranian diplomats who were kidnapped in Lebanon in 1982 are due to attend a meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Commission.

Ra'ed Mousavi, the son of one of the four kidnapped Iranian diplomats, said that his mother is scheduled to attend the annual summit of the UN Human Rights Commission in Switzerland, where the human rights report of each country is studied.

Mousavi, whose father was Iran's charge d'affaires in Lebanon, reminded that his mother's attendance at the human rights commission meeting takes place at the invitation of the UN body.

Three Iranian diplomats, Ahmad Motevasselian, Seyed Mohsen Mousavi and Kazem Akhavan as well as an Iranian journalist, Taqi Rastgar, were kidnapped by the Zionists' mercenaries in Lebanon in 1982 while they were rendering aids and assistance to the oppressed Lebanese people.
