ILAM The prominent Shiite Alim, Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani has been barred from leaving Iraq by the Iraqi government, announced an Arabic radio affiliated to Iraqi opposition groups on Sunday. Voice of National Solidarity, monitored in this western Iranian province, reported that there is the fear that Ayatollah Sistani might be the subject of a plot hatched by the Baghdad regime and might face the destiny that the Grand Ayatollahs Haj Sheikh Morteza Boroujerdi and Sheikh Mirza Ali Gharavi Tabrizi had.
