Iran trounces Kazakhstan in water polo meet

TEHRAN – Iran demolished host Kazakhstan’s youth water polo team 13-6 in an international tournament Tuesday.

The rejuvenated Iran had already defeated Uzbekistan 8-6.

In today’s clashes, Iran takes on the seniors’ side of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan plays the host’s youth team.

Iran is preparing for the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, capital of Qatar.
