5th Congress on Neurology and Clinical Electrophysiology Begins

TEHRAN The 5th Congress on Neurology and Clinical Electrophysiology was inaugurated here yesterday. Welcoming the participants, the Chancellor of Shahid Beheshti Medical Sciences University Dr. Habibollah Peiravi said that emergence of the history of neurology returns to creation of man. Speaking on the distinguished developments made in the field of sciences specially in medical science, Peiravi said that it is necessary for physicians to be acquainted with the latest changes, developments and information in this field.
Peiravi further said that the aim of such medical congresses is preparing opportunities for physicians to exchange their views and information. Holding specialized congresses not only paves the way for changing people's ideas but also has a vital role in development of scientific activities. A total of 197 research papers were received by the congress secretariat. Out of which 58 will be presented during the four-day congress.
