BARCELONA Barcelona officials confirmed on Friday that they have signed Dutch international striker Boudewijn Zenden from PSV Eindhoven for 1,000 million pesetas ($6.66 million). The signing of a five-year contract was completed late on Thursday night and only finalized after the results of medical tests were known. Zenden, 21, a top class judo competitor during his teenage years, becomes the fifth Dutch player on the books at Barcelona, who are coached by another Dutchman, Louis Van Gaal. He described moving to Barcelona as `a dream' and his skills and strong footwork should ensure his move does not turn into a nightmare in the notoriously physical Spanish league which Barcelona won last season.
