Iran, Malaysia Stress Expansion of Cooperation

KUALA LUMPUR (IRNA) -- Iran and Malaysia stressed on Monday the need to expand bilateral cooperation in the fields of legal and human rights affairs as well as commercial and educational exchanges.

Iran’s Ambassador to Kuala Lumpur Mohammad Qasem Moheb-Ali, in a meeting with the Malaysian minister of state, discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of human rights and its materialization in international bodies through joint efforts within the Organization of the Islamic Conference and the UN Human Rights Commission.

The two sides called for promotion of bilateral cooperation at international level and highlighted the importance of further presence of Iranian educated people in scientific and academic arena of Malaysia.
