$11b Iran’s Half-Year Oil Revenues?

TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) – While an informed official put the oil revenue obtained by Iran during the past six month of the current Iranian calendar year (Started March 21, 2003), at about $11 billion, other official hesitate to reveal the whole truth.
A few days ago, when asked about the exact number of the country’s oil revenues, Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh claimed that he did not “recall” the amount.
To the posed question, head of Iran’s Management and Planning Organization (MPO) Mohammad Sattarifar stated the amount of money that the ministry has deposited to the Exchange Reserve Fund during the first half of this year.
Meanwhile, the managing director of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Mahdi Mir Moezzi stated diverse figures in his interviews.
