TEHRAN -- The Head of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, General Command said young Palestinians will take revenge for murders committed by Israel, the official news agency IRNA reported.

"Young Palestinian militants will take revenge for the murders committed by Israel", Ahmad Jibril, the PFLP-GC Secretary-General, told IRNA Wednesday in Damascus where his movement is based.

"The Palestinian people are not scared of Israel or its crimes, and the crueler its actions are, the more Palestinian youth are determined to fight for the liberation of their country", he added.

Jibril's eldest son and probable successor, Jihad, who headed the movement in neighboring Lebanon, was killed on May 20 when his car exploded in Beirut.

Ahmad Jibril denounced "American support to Israel's inhumane policies", and said, "All Muslims in the world should support the Palestinians".

The PFLP-GC accused Mossad, Israel's intelligence service, of being responsible for the assassination of Jihad, but Israel denied the claim.

The left-wing organization has been consistently opposed to the Oslo Peace Process signed in 1993 by Israel and the Palestinians, which established the Palestinian Authority and granted it autonomy over parts of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
