Donated Organs Save Three Lives

TEHRAN The kidneys and liver of a twelve-year-old boy who died of a stroke in Shiraz were transplanted to three youths.
The Director General of the Fars Province Charitable Society for Supporting Nephritic Patients, Nader Moein, while expressing his support for people who suffer from kidney and liver diseases, said on Tuesday that the boy's family had donated his organs.
Moein added that the transplant operations were successfully carried out in Shiraz on Monday.
Two 16-year-old boys and a girl from Fars Province received the organs.
He encouraged the family's of brain dead people to donate their relatives' organs.
