The Palestinian Health Ministry said on Tuesday that three more adults died in Gaza over the past 24 hours “due to famine and malnutrition.”

The ministry reported that the total number of hunger-related deaths in Gaza now stands at 303, including 117 children.

Nearly 63,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since Israel launched war on the enclave in October 2023. This figure includes 2,140 people who have died while seeking aid since May 27. 

Israel’s full blockade of the Gaza Strip, in place since early March, has created catastrophic conditions for the enclave’s 2.4 million residents, leading to famine, widespread disease, and the collapse of essential services.
