Protesters in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, have condemned Israeli crimes in Gaza as an annual United Nations climate conference kicks off there.

They demonstrated on the opening day of the UNFCCC COP29 Climate Conference in Baku on November 11.

The protesters called for ending the occupation of Palestine and ending the Israeli genocide in Gaza.

An Israeli delegation of more than 100 people is set to attend the conference amid rising anti-Israel sentiment in the world over its brutal wars in Gaza and Lebanon.
