Actress Fatemeh Mokhtari wins award at IndieFEST
TEHRAN-The Iranian short film “Stupid” directed by Meysam Mohammadkhani won an award at the 15th IndieFEST, held in California, the U.S.
According to the list of winners announced last week, the movie received the Award of Recognition for Leading Actress for Fatemeh Mokhtari. The award is presented to the winners for their achievement in a specific category of entry, IRNA reported on Saturday.
A production of 2024, the 23-minute film is about Marzieh, a short student who lives in a dormitory. She finds out that she is being teased by her roommates.
Fatemeh Mokhtari plays in the lead role as Marzieh along with Elham Ahmadi, Saghi Hajpour, Kimia Khalaj, Saeedeh Roudbaraki, and Motahare Musavi.
