Iranian Army commanders offer condolences for martyrdom of air defense personnel

TEHRAN- A group of high-ranking commanders from the Islamic Republic of Iran Army released individual statements to convey their condolences regarding the martyrdom of the army's air defense personnel.

In a message, the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army extended his congratulations and condolences for the loss of four air defense members due to the aggressive actions of the Zionist regime.

Major General Abdulrahim Mousavi's message following the martyrdom of these four personnel highlighted, “Iran stands as a resilient tree, unwavering against the storms of adversity and the enmity of its foes, particularly the United States and the misguided Zionist regime, thanks to the dedication of all fighters and the support of our heroic nation.”

Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi, commander of the Iranian Air Force, praised the exemplary courage and resilience of the nation's sons in air defense, describing them as an unyielding barrier against the aggression of the illegitimate Zionist regime.

Brigadier General Ghadir Rahimzadeh, commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Joint Air Defense Headquarters, asserted in his message that the martyrdom of these four individuals in the face of the criminal Zionist regime's air assault has strengthened the resolve and determination of the air defense fighters in safeguarding the nation's airspace. 

General Rahimzadeh expressed confidence that the dedicated and faithful comrades in air defense units nationwide, inspired by the noble sacrifice of the martyrs, will continue to fulfill their vital mission with unwavering strength and readiness diligently.

Brigadier General Kioumars Heydari, the commander of the Army's Ground Forces, conveyed in a message that the martyrdom of four courageous defenders from the Air Defense Force, who fell victim to the cowardly assault by the usurping Zionist regime on Islamic Iran, has set the stage for their severe retribution. 

General Heydari emphasized, “Our nation embraces martyrdom, viewing it as a symbol of a noble conclusion and honor. Such acts only serve to fortify our determination and foster greater unity among us.”

Additionally, Admiral Habibullah Sayyari, Chief of Staff and deputy coordinator of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army commended the valor of the dedicated personnel of the Air Defense Force, who protect the airspace of our Islamic homeland. 

Admiral Sayyari acknowledged their significant contributions to the proud history of Iran’s populace and prayed for their elevation in ranks, as well as for the strength and resilience of those who remain.

Captain Sajad Mansouri, Captain Hamzeh Jahandideh, First Sergeant Mohammad Mahdi Shahrokhi, and First Sergeant Mehdi Taghavi achieved martyrdom while bravely confronting the aggression and thwarting the malevolence of the illegitimate Zionist regime in the early hours of Saturday, October 26.
