TEHRAN - Three hours after Israel announced strikes against Iran, defense systems in central Tehran were captured on video downing unidentified projectiles. 

Footage taken by citizens shows defense systems firing into the sky, but the nature of the target remains unclear. The interception in the heart of the capital occurred following reports of explosions in western Tehran and the nearby city of Karaj. 

Despite the alleged Israeli attacks, no evidence of damage or casualties has yet been reported on the ground. The apparent failure of the strikes suggests that Iranian defense systems may have successfully intercepted all the projectiles.
