TEHRAN – The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry has strongly dismissed Israeli claims that Iran’s Embassy in Beirut has been involved in Lebanon’s Hezbollah Resistance Movement’s attacks against the regime’s positions in the occupied territories.

In a statement released on Thursday, Esmail Baqaei characterized the accusation as baseless, labeling it a fabrication and a deceitful tactic employed by the Israeli regime.

This response came in light of allegations made by the spokesperson of the Israeli military, who said the Iranian embassy in Lebanon had been involved in a recent missile operation against Israel. He did not provide any evidence for his claims.

Baqaei asserted that the claims regarding the Iranian embassy's involvement in Hezbollah's activities are entirely unfounded.

He also highlighted the ongoing aggression and crimes perpetrated by the Israeli regime against regional nations over the past year, cautioning against any threats to Iran's interests.

The Israeli regime has repeatedly resorted to anti-Iranian rhetoric and accusations as a means to distract the international community from its persistent violence in Lebanon and the atrocities committed against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip, the spokesman added.
