Iran strongly condemns terrorist attack on Pakistani coal miners in Baluchistan
TEHRAN – The spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong condemnation of the terrorist attack targeting coal miners in Pakistan, Baluchistan province.
Local reports indicate that on Friday, armed groups launched an assault on a coal mine in Baluchistan, resulting in the deaths of at least 20 miners and injuring over 35 others.
Ismail Baqaei reiterated the Islamic Republic of Iran's firm stance against all forms of terrorism and violent extremism and highlighted that effectively addressing this grave issue necessitates collaboration among all nations at both regional and international levels.
The spokesperson extended heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families, conveying the sympathies of the Iranian government and people to the government and citizens of Pakistan.
