Israel must be worried about what is awaiting it, Iran FM warns
“Our main weapon is the blood of martyrs”
TEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Monday that Israel should not gloat over its airstrikes on Hezbollah and instead be worried about what is awaiting it.
Israel, especially its prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is taking pride of assassinating Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah with American supplied fighter jets and its 2000-ton bunker busters.
“In the future we will see that more young men will enthusiastically join the Resistance, and the Zionist enemies should not rejoice their strike, rather they must be worried about what is awaiting them,” Araghchi said after visiting the Hezbollah office in Tehran to sign a letter in memory of martyr Hassan Nasrallah.
The Hezbollah leader was martyred as Israel’s air force launched a massive airstrike on southern suburbs of Beirut late on Friday. The aim of the airstrikes were Hezbollah leaders. Six building blocks were flattened in the attacks ordered by Netanyahu from New York, where he had attended to address the UN General Assembly to justify his war crimes against Gazans.
“The blood of Shaheed (martyr) Nasrallah will even be more effective” than he himself, Araghchi said, adding, “Our enemies are ignorant of the fact that our main weapon is the blood of martyrs.”
Noting that the “future belongs to the Resistance,” the foreign minister said he is “noticing among his friends in the Lebanese Hezbollah and the entire Axis of Resistance that their enthusiasm and courage have increased” and are preparing to continue the path of Resistance “more resolutely.”
