Pezeshkian offers congratulations to Turkmen officials on Independence Day
TEHRAN – The Iranian President offered individual messages of congratulations to Turkmenistan's national leader and head of the People's Council, as well as the country's president, on the occasion of the anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence Day.
In the message to Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, the national leader and head of the Turkmenistan People's Council, Masoud Pezeshkian highlighted that enhancing cooperation with neighboring and regional nations is a key focus of his administration.
Pezeshkian expressed confidence that collaboration rooted in mutual interests and the effective use of existing resources will facilitate the further development of relations across various sectors.
Additionally, in the message to President Serdar Berdymukhamedov, Pezeshkian expressed optimism that the two countries’ bilateral relationship, founded on mutual respect, will be further strengthened for the benefit of both nations' citizens.
Turkmenistan commemorates its Independence Day on September 27, celebrating the anniversary of its liberation from the Soviet Union in 1991. This occasion serves as a moment for the nation to reflect on its historical journey and cultural heritage while celebrating its accomplishments as a sovereign state.
