Israel must be stopped before it is too late, Iran deputy FM warns
TEHRAN – After a series of new Israeli terrorist attacks in Lebanon, Iran’s deputy foreign minister for political affairs has urged the international community to rein in the regime, “before it’s too late”.
“The Israeli regime pushes the limit to a new, perilous level,” Majid Takht Ravanchi wrote on his X account on Saturday, adding, “It not only continuously blocks a ceasefire in Gaza, but plays a dangerous game in Lebanon, too.”
The Iranian diplomat warned that any future consequences lie with Israel before calling on the international community to stop the regime’s “adventures”.
More than 11 months of Israeli war in Gaza coupled with the regime’s constant attacks on other countries across the region has left West Asia on the edge of an all-out war. Israel has upped the ante in recent days by orchestrating thousands of pager and walkie-talkie explosions in Lebanon and razing a building complex in southern Beirut to the ground, killing multiple civilians, including children, alongside Hezbollah members.
