TEHRAN – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has sent a message to the Lebanese people and government offering them condolences over the explosion of electronic devices in the country at the hands of the Zionist Israeli regime which has left more than 30 people including children dead and injured nearly 4000 others.

In a series of posts on X headlined #We sympathize with Lebanon, Pezeshkian asked the international organizations to act to their duties in response to the Israeli regime’s “terrorist acts” in Lebanon.

“I express my deepest condolences and sympathy toward the dear people of Lebanon for the martyrdom and injury of thousands of citizens in the terrorist regime’s collective and treasonous assassination by detonating communications devices without any differentiation between civilians and others,” Pezeshkian stated.

The president said, “God is indefatigable and takes revenge, and the criminal will surely be punished fairly.”

Pezeshkian added, “The Islamic Republic of Iran censures this despicable crime which has targeted the Lebanese and insists on its support for the government and people of Lebanon. We want the international organizations act based on their duties.”

At the end the president wished the Almighty God to “protect Lebanon and its people” and “sought mercy for the martyrs and immediate recovery for the injured”.
