Female sprinter Safarzadeh makes history in 2024 Paralympic Games

PARIS - Hajar Safarzadeh of Iran made history in the women’s 400 meters T12, winning a silver medal of the 2024 Paralympic Games.
She clocked 55.39 seconds to win the silver.
Cuban sprinter Omara Durand Elías claimed the gold with 53.59 seconds and Ukrainian Oksana Boturchuk finished in third place with 55.67 seconds.
Iran has sent 65 athletes in 10 sports to the Games.
