Tehran hosting intl. textile expo with 120 foreign firms in attendance

TEHRAN - The 30th International Exhibition of Textile Machinery, Raw Materials, Home Textiles, Embroidery Machines and Textile Products (IRAN TEX 2024) is being held at the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds from August 19 to 22, IRNA reported.

As reported, 170 domestic companies and 120 foreign firms from 13 different countries including Germany, Italy, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, South Korea, Turkey, Pakistan, Austria, Switzerland, India, Japan and China are showcasing their latest products and achievements in the current year’s exhibition.

All kinds of equipment and services, including textile machinery, parts, sewing, embroidery, and cutting machines, all kinds of accessories and related parts, various types of textiles including fabric, clothing, yarn, fibers, dyes, blankets, curtain fabrics, bedspreads, kitchen, bathroom and toilet service textiles, and all kinds of fabrics for clothing production have been presented and displayed in this exhibition.

Some 12 scientific workshops and two specialized conferences with the presence of experts and university professors are also scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the exhibition.

Plans are also made for the visit of several foreign trade and business delegations to the exhibition.

Introducing the achievements, capacities and capabilities of Iranian factories and companies active in textile industry, developing exports and finding new export markets, displaying the latest domestic and foreign scientific, technical and industrial achievements in this field, providing a suitable platform for the transfer of more technologies to the country, establishing new business relationships and strengthening Previous relations, as well as providing the necessary grounds for domestic and foreign companies' investment and entrepreneurship are among the most important goals of holding this exhibition.

As reported, knowledge-based companies and startups as well as scientific and research centers have a strong presence in this year's exhibition.
