Iran’s deterrence power is deterring enemy aggression: commander
TEHRAN- The deputy chief of the Iranian Army for coordination has asserted that Iran possesses a formidable deterrent capability that no adversary would dare to infringe upon its borders.
Rear Admiral Habibullah Sayyari made these statements while speaking at the Martyrs National Congress on Saturday evening in Yazd Province, where he expressed his appreciation for the martyrs' sacrifices, and acknowledged the populace's vigilance and wisdom.
Reflecting on the memories of the eight years of Sacred Defense and the contributions of various forces on the battlefield, he emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran has demonstrated its deterrent strength to the world during the conflict and continues to confront its adversaries with honor today.
The naval official highlighted Iran's significant involvement in key regional events, stating, “The standing of the Islamic Republic of Iran in West Asia has strengthened.”
He asserted, “No one would dare to invade Iran,” noting that the Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps possess ample weaponry and are capable of exporting it.
Sayyari emphasized that Iran's adversaries, particularly the occupying Zionist regime, are aware that they will face considerable challenges in the realm of deterrence in response to their actions against our territory.
