Paris 2024 taekwondo: Iran’s Kiani wins silver

TEHRAN - Nahid Kiani of Iran lost to Kim Yujin of the Republic of Korea 2-0 in the women’s taekwondo -57kg category Thursday night.

Earlier in the day, Canada's Skylar Park beat Lebanon's Laetitia Aoun in the first of two women’s -57kg bronze medal matches.

Bulgaria's Kimia Alizadeh, a bronze medalist for Iran at Rio 2016 who also competed for the Refugee Olympic Team at Tokyo 2020 where she finished fifth, beat Luo Zongshi of the People’s Republic of China to win her second Olympic bronze.
