Iran gymnast Olfati happy with his result in 2024 Olympics
TEHRAN – Iranian gymnast Mahdi Olfati says that he is satisfied with what he has done in the 2024 Olympic Games.
Olfati, 23, finished in seventh place with a score of 14.266 in the vault.
The Philippines' Carlos Edriel Yulo secured his second gold of the Games (15.116) having topped the podium in the floor event on Saturday, while silver went to Armenia's Artur Davtyan (14.966).
Harry Hepworth (14.949(became the first British man to win an Olympic vault medal with bronze in a high-quality final in Paris.
“I’m happy with my result in the Games because it was my first Olympics. I hope to show a better performance in the next Olympic Games,” Olfati said.
“The level of the competition in Olympics is high and it affected on my performance,” he added.
