Several countries held funeral processions for Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh who was assassinated early on Wednesday.

People in Yemen, Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan rallied and held in-absentia funeral prayers for the Hamas leader. 

They condemned his assassination by Israel and the regime’s crimes in Gaza.  

Similar protests were held in Pakistan and Indonesia. 

Prayers in-absentia were also performed in the Gaza Strip and occupied East Jerusalem (al-Quds).
