Afghan deputy PM visits Tehran for presidential inauguration

TEHRAN - Maolawi Abdul Kabir Mohammad Jan, the deputy Prime Minister of the interim government of Afghanistan, arrived at Imam Khomeini International Airport on Monday.
He has visited Tehran to participate in the inauguration of new Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian, who will take an oath of office on Tuesday afternoon in the Parliament.
According to Alireza Sharifi, the deputy parliament speaker in charge of the inauguration committee, more than 70 foreign delegations from various countries are scheduled to attend the ceremony.
