70 foreign delegates to attend inauguration of Iranian president

TEHRAN – 70 foreign delegates, including 10 presidents and primes ministers, will participate in the inauguration of Iranian President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian on Tuesday.
According to the official IRNA news agency, 15 parliament speakers; 16 vice presidents, deputy prime minister, deputy parliament speakers and ministers; and 17 special envoys will also participate in the ceremony.
Chiefs or representatives of certain international bodies, foreign ambassadors residing in Tehran will also attend the swearing-in ceremony.
The ceremony will be held in the building of the Iranian Parliament. During the ceremony the president-elect will solemnly affirm to defend the Constitution.
Pezeshkian was elected president in the runoff elections on July 5.
