Pezeshkian holds meetings with workers and retirees’ representatives
TEHRAN- Members of the workers community and representatives from the retirement association convened to discuss their financial demands and concerns in a meeting with the newly elected president.
As reported by Tasnim News, on Tuesday morning, a session was held at the Presidential Office, where members of the workers community and retirement associations engaged in dialogue with Masoud Pezeshkian, the president-elect, presenting their financial challenges.
During the meeting, Pezeshkian encouraged the community to propose a candidate for the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare, stating, “Suggest your preferred Labor Minister, and we will strive to select an individual who not only hails from the working class but also possesses the required expertise and capabilities.”
Following the inauguration ceremony on July 30, the president will have a two-week window to introduce his cabinet for parliamentary approval.
