TEHRAN - Esteghlal football club have confirmed the signing of former Persepolis right back Ramin Rezaeian on Sunday.

Rezaeian most recently played for Sepahan. 

The 34-year-old player, who had previously played for Persepiolis in two stints, has penned a one-year deal with Esteghlal.

Rezaeian began his playing career in  Saba Battery in 2009 and has also played in Rah Ahan, Qatar's Al Duhail and Belgium's Ostende. 

Rezaeian scored a goal for Iran national football team against Wales in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where Team Melli won the match 2-0.
