“I Know Something You Don't Know” at Iranian bookstores

TEHRAN- “I Know Something You Don't Know” written by German author Brigitte Raab and illustrated by Manuela Olten has recently been published in Persian.

Translated by Gita Rasouli, the book has been published by Elmi Farhangi Publications in Tehran.

The book "I Know Something You Don't Know" is a fun and interactive book that presents a series of fun facts and claims made by kids, along with the challenge for readers to determine whether they are true or false. The book features a series of statements, such as "My mom saw a bird flying faster than our car!", "When I blow on a dandelion, some of the seeds fly more than a mile!", and "The ants in our garden are stronger than weightlifters!", which kids can evaluate and decide whether they are true or false.

Her work has been recognized by the prestigious Stiftung Buchkunst (Book Art Foundation) and the German Academy for Children’s and Youth Literature, a testament to her exceptional storytelling abilities.

Manuela Olten, born in 1970, is a talented photographer and designer with a special focus on illustration. She honed her skills at the University College of Design in Offenbach am Main, where she majored in children’s book illustration. Her remarkable work has earned her acclaim from the esteemed Oldenburger Children’s and Youth Book Prize, solidifying her reputation as a master of her craft.
