Nearly 9,600 arrested in West Bank since Oct. 7
Israeli forces arrested 30 Palestinians throughout the West Bank late on Sunday, that’s according to a statement by the Commission of Detainees Affairs and Prisoners Club.
The statement said the arrests were accompanied by a campaign of fear and also destruction of Palestinian properties.
It noted that the latest arrests brough the number of Palestinians who have been detained in the West Bank since October 7 to 9,580.
Tensions have been high across the West Bank since Israel launched its genocidal war on Gaza more than nine months ago. The war has killed more than 38,000 Palestinians.
The Palestinian Health Ministry says at least 570 people, including 136 children, have since been killed and more than 5,350 others injured by Israeli army fire in the West Bank.
