Putin, Iran acting president discuss bilateral cooperation in key sectors
TEHRAN – Russian President Vladimir Putin and acting Iranian President Mohammad Mokhber engaged in a telephone conversation to discuss enhancing bilateral energy cooperation and advancing large-scale infrastructure projects.
According to a report by Sputnik, "President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the Acting Head of the Executive Branch of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Mokhber. They discussed issues of further mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in all key areas."
The leaders highlighted the successful development of their countries' energy collaboration and the progress in implementing significant infrastructure initiatives.
Additionally, Putin extended his best wishes for a successful presidential election in Iran and expressed optimism about the continued growth of friendly relations between the two nations.
