TEHRAN – Iran lost to Tunisia 26-23 in Group I of the 2024 President’s Cup on Sunday.

Iran are scheduled to meet Chile on Tuesday.

The Persians had suffered three losses against the Netherlands, Romania and Brazil in Group A of the 2024 IHF Women’s Junior World Championship and failed to advance to main round.

Fatemeh Merikh was named the Player of the Match.

The competition is being held in North Macedonia from June 19 to 30.
