IRGC commander praises national strength, resilience amidst challenges
TEHRAN– Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami says Iran has solidified the utmost level of national strength and resilience by reaching the peak of its military and political power.
Salami described the ongoing confrontation with powerful adversaries who have employed various strategies against Iran over the past four decades. "We have faced increasing domains of conflict, and the world powers came to fight this Revolution with all its capacities," he said.
Despite intense pressure, Salami asserted that Iran has managed to neutralize these pressures. "By divine grace, we have absorbed and neutralized all these diverse pressures, imposing the magnificent power of a nation upon a world of assembled enemies," he declared.
Salami cited various indicators of Iran's power, including its ability to maintain security and conduct secure exports and imports despite sanctions. "If you see security amidst peak confrontation, it means you possess power," he stressed.
He praised the Leader's role in guiding the country through challenges, emphasizing that Iran's oil industry and national projects continue to thrive independently of foreign influence. "We, as the IRGC, are executing 360 national projects, with 100 awaiting inaugurations," Salami stated.
In conclusion, General Salami highlighted the recognition of Iran's power on the global stage, stating that the enemies acknowledge Iran's strength.
In an unprecedented move, Iran launched over 300 missiles and drones targeting Israel during the True Promise operation.
This operation came amidst rising regional tensions due to the ongoing conflict in Palestine and the Israel’s bombing of Iranian consulate in Damascus. Many anticipated that Israel would retaliate against these Iranian attacks, potentially broadening the conflict in Gaza to other areas of the region.
Experts suggest that Iran's anti-Israel operation has altered the military dynamics in the region, further undermining the Israeli regime and its allies in their ongoing conflict in Gaza.
Israel initiated its current offensive against Gaza on October 7, following a surprise attack by Palestinian Resistance movements, named Operation Al-Aqsa Storm which came as an answer to years of Israeli wrongdoings in the occupied territories. This offensive has heavily targeted hospitals, homes, and places of worship, leading to widespread destruction.
Alongside the military campaign, Israel has imposed a near-total blockade on the coastal enclave, severely restricting the supply of essential goods such as food, medicine, electricity, and water. This blockade has drastically affected the Palestinian population's ability to access basic necessities.
