TEHRAN – Sergei Aleinik, the Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs, has landed in Tehran to join the commemoration ceremony for late Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.

Aleinik arrived in Tehran on Wednesday. His visit reinforces Belarus's solidarity with Iran and its commitment to honoring those who have sacrificed their lives in service.

President Raisi and Minister Amir Abdollahian lost their lives during a helicopter crash in northwestern Iran on Sunday, which happened due to severe weather conditions.
