Israeli army casualties continue to rise
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) acknowledged the death of another senior officer who had sustained serious injuries in the battles raging in the northern Gaza Strip.
The spokesperson for the Israeli army said the deceased officer was a company commander in the 202nd Battalion of the 35th Paratroopers Brigade.
The IOF has been forced to acknowledge the extent of some of its losses, as it faces fierce confrontations on various battlefronts in Gaza, where the Palestinian resistance fighters conduct and document their operations, showing the injury of Israeli soldiers.
There has been a surge in qualitative resistance operations, especially in Jabalia in the northern sector, where it has been repelling incursions by the occupation forces for about eight months.
On Sunday, the Israeli army admitted the killing of two soldiers and the injury of four others during battles with the Palestinian resistance fighters in Gaza, according to Israeli media reports.
The IOF also announced the injury of an officer, as well as two other soldiers from the Givati Brigade, and a reservist soldier in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
On Saturday, the Israeli army acknowledged the killing of one of its soldiers with the Paratroopers Brigade, during battles in northern Gaza.
The latest deaths raise the IOF death toll since the start of the genocidal war on Gaza to at least 631. Experts believe the figure is higher.
