TEHRAN – The spokesman for the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has highlighted the significance of Operation True Promise, noting its pivotal role in reshaping Iran's adversaries' strategies.

Brigadier General Ramezan Sharif, addressing a conference on Saturday, lauded the PR endeavors of the IRGC and Basij, stating, "While some viewed Operation True Promise as limited, it proved to be a potent, game-changing endeavor in reshaping our enemies' tactics."

Sharif underscored the operation's impact, stating, "Our adversaries marshaled all resources to discredit this punitive mission, employing media prowess to downplay its significance.”

Highlighting the operation's scale, he added, "It wasn't just the Zionist regime; all those who aided and abetted the Zionist regime over the past 74 years, across military, propaganda, intelligence, and media realms, joined the fray."

The IRGC spokesman emphasized, "However, divine intervention ensured this landmark decision by the Leader of Islamic Revolution to penalize the Zionist regime unfolded in full view, restoring our nation's prestige and glory."

On April 1, the Israeli regime carried out terrorist airstrikes on the consular section of Iran's embassy in the Syrian capital Damascus, which killed two IRGC generals, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi and General Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi, as well as five of their accompanying officers.

In retaliation, the IRGC targeted the Occupied Territories on April 13 with a barrage of drones and missiles. The retaliatory strikes, dubbed Operation True Promise, inflicted damage on Israeli military bases across the occupied Palestinian territories.
