Iran junior volleyball team to compete at CAVA

TEHRAN – Iran junior volleyball team will compete at the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Nation’s Volleyball League.
The competition will be held from May 11 to 17 at the Liaqat Gymnasium of Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad.
The event would see six teams from Central Asian countries, including Iran, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and host nation Pakistan.
Iran will meet Kyrgyzstan on May 11 in their opener.
The Central Asian Volleyball Association is the governing body for the sports of indoor, beach and grass volleyball in Central Asia and South Asia.
In the spirit of the FIVB 2001 plan, AVC was the first to create five zonal associations at the 10th general assembly in December 1993.
