TEHRAN – Iran national volleyball team opposite spiker Bardia Saadat is not completely fit to represent Team Melli at the 2024 Volleyball Nations League (VNL).

The Alanya Belediyespor player escaped unharmed from a car crash in early April in Alanya.

Saadat was taken to the hospital by an ambulance and was discharged after treatment.

Now, the federation has announced that the player is not fully fit to represent Iran at the 2024 VNL.

Iran are scheduled to play Serbia in the 2024 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) on May 22 in Brazil in their opening match and will also face Italy (May 24), Cuba (May 25) and Argentina (May 26).
