'Palestine represents the foremost humanitarian issue worldwide,' says speaker
TEHRAN- Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has asserted that by participating in the Quds Day rally, both in Iran and globally, people have underscored that "the Palestine issue stands as the foremost concern for the Islamic Ummah and humanity as a whole."
Speaking at the Quds Day rally on Friday, Ghalibaf strongly condemned the Israeli assault on the consular section of the Iranian embassy in the Syrian capital of Damascus, along with the ongoing crimes perpetrated by the occupying regime in Gaza and Palestine.
"This year's Quds Day rally witnessed a distinctive momentum, both in Iran and across the globe," remarked the parliament speaker, emphasizing that the true nature of the Zionist regime has been laid bare, characterized by its malice, disregard for human rights, and defiance of international laws.
He also expressed hope that the heightened awareness and vigilance, particularly within the Islamic world, could catalyze the dismantling of the cancerous regime (Israel).
