TEHRAN-Iran’s Art Bureau of the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization has orchestrated two visual art events in Syria and Cuba with a focus on endorsing the Palestinian resistance as the International Quds Day approaches.

As artists worldwide continue to create works in support of the oppressed people of Gaza, the Art Bureau has joined forces with liberated artists in Cuba and Syria, the public relations office of the bureau announced on Wednesday.

One of these initiatives features a mural symbolizing solidarity with Palestine in Cuba, overseen by the Art Bureau's Visual Arts Center and inspired by the acclaimed Cuban cartoonist Arístides Esteban Hernández Guerrero, also known as ARES. Crafted by six Cuban artists, the mural adorns a wall in Havana, the Cuban capital.

Furthermore, in the lead-up to World Quds Day on Friday, six artists from five Islamic countries are currently in Syria to commemorate the Palestinian resistance through an artistic event.

Titled "Al-Thar Qadem" (Revenge is Coming), the event includes the participation of Masoud Nejabat from Iran and artists from Iraq, Algeria, Palestine, and Syria.

Taking place in the Yarmouk camp among Palestinian refugees, these esteemed artists will craft seven pieces of art over two days to honor the martyrs of the path to Quds. These works will be unveiled in sync with World Quds Day in Damascus, near the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the location of recent atrocities committed by the Zionist regime.

On Monday, the Israeli regime launched an assault on the Consular Section of the Iranian embassy in the Syrian capital of Damascus, resulting in the deaths of at least seven individuals, including General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a high-ranking commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps Quds Force.

Moreover, amid the ongoing turmoil in Gaza, the Palestinian Health Ministry reported on Saturday that over 32,705 individuals have tragically lost their lives in the territory since the commencement of Israel's attacks on October 7. Furthermore, the ministry disclosed that a staggering 75,190 people have sustained injuries since the conflict began in the Gaza Strip.
