TEHRAN – Iran national team beat Kyrgyzstan 6-0 at the 2024 IIHF Women's Asia and Oceania Cup at the Gorodskoi Katok in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on Monday.

Team Melli had defeated the UAE 16-0 in their opening match on Sunday.

Iran will play India on Tuesday.

The 2024 IIHF Women's Asia and Oceania Cup is an international women's ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).

This edition of the tournament takes place from March 24 to 30 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

The tournament follows a single round robin format.
