Commander highlights heightened fear among Zionists over West Bank operations
TEHRAN – The head of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) emphasized that the longstanding apprehension of the Zionist regime towards anti-Israeli activities in the West Bank during Ramadan has escalated to its peak this year.
Brigadier General Esmaeil Qaani remarked on Tuesday that while the Zionist regime has historically feared the engagements carried out by Palestinian youth in the West Bank during Ramadan, their anxiety has now reached unprecedented heights.
Commending the robust morale of Palestinian forces, the commander highlighted how these fighters have effectively communicated to Hamas the need for resolute negotiations on the part of the resistance organization while they themselves engage in steadfast resistance.
Noting the significant enhancement of capabilities among Palestinian combatants and their adept management of the battlefield, General Qaani underlined the distinctive attributes that define their conduct.
Praising the operational success of the Al-Aqsa Storm campaign initiated by Palestinian forces outside Gaza in October 2023, the commander stressed that warfare in the style of resistance transcends mere weaponry and instruments, drawing its strength from profound spiritual and ideological foundations.
The Al-Aqsa Storm operation, launched by Hamas on October 7, 2023, in response to Israeli provocations at the al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East al-Quds and escalating settler violence against Palestinians, caught the occupying forces off guard, resulting in significant casualties on the Israeli side and disrupting their security apparatus.
