TEHRAN – Vahid Kazemi was officially chosen as referee of the 103rd Tehran derby between Esteghlal and Persepolis.

Kazemi will be assisted by Saeid Ghasemi and Hassan Entezari.

Payam Heydari is fourth official.

Mooud Bonyadifar, Gulmurodi Sadullo and Mahsa Ghorbani are the VAR officials.

The Tehran derby will be held on Wednesday.

Esteghlal lead 2023/24 Iran Persian Gulf Professional League (PGPL) with 42 points, followed by Persepolis with 39 points.

Out of 102 matches, 49 have ended in draws so far, with Persepolis winning 27 and Esteghlal 26.
