TEHRAN – Esteghlal and Persepolis football teams’ players visited children with cancer in a hospital in Tehran, capital of Iran on Monday.

Persepolis captain Omid Alishah and Esteghlal’s Mehdi Mehdipour and Mehrdad Mohammadi took photos with the patients during the visit.

The players had been invited to the hospital by a charity organization.

Esteghlal and Persepolis will lock horns with each other on Wednesday in Tehran derby at the Azadi Stadium.

Esteghlal lead 2023/24 Iran Persian Gulf Professional League (PGPL) table, three points ahead of Persepolis.
