Iran-Bosnia friendship week kicks off in Sarajevo
TEHRAN-Iran-Bosnia children’s friendship week officially kicked off in the Bosnian capital of Sarajevo on Monday, marking the start of a five-day event aimed at fostering cultural exchange and friendship between the two nations.
Organized by the Iranian cultural attaché office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in collaboration with Art Bureau in Iran as well as the cultural and educational centers for children and teenagers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the event features various programs designed to introduce Bosnian children and teenagers to the rich cultural heritage of Iran.
Throughout the week, Iranian artists will be hosted in four cultural centers, where they will showcase puppet shows, storytelling of Iranian heroes, animations, and traditional arts. Workshops on making Iranian dolls and woodblock printing will also be offered, giving participants a hands-on experience of Iranian artistry.
The event is a celebration of the deep-rooted historical connections between Iran and Bosnia, and serves as a platform for building lasting friendships among the younger generation. The friendship week will conclude on Friday.
